For Aqueduct
(acquired by NetManage), Expert Support built a simulation
of a large corporate enterprise, with a variety of PC
workstations and software applications. Aqueduct's tools
enabled an IS manager to keep track of what software
was running where and what resources were being consumed.
The objective was to enable the IS manager to assess
usage and be able to plan for upgrades and migration.
The simulation model included reports that an IS manager
would want for day-to-day operations, and for planning.
