Lumina Decision Systems develops software that helps people to make complicated and important decisions with clarity and confidence. Lumina also provides consulting, research, and seminars on decision-support software, decision analysis, and risk analysis.

Expert Support assisted Lumina in the design, development, and production of the User's Guide and the Tutorial for Analytica, a Windows 95 and Macintosh-based, visual environment for creating, analyzing and communicating probabilistic models for business, risk and decision analysis. Our involvement in the project spanned several years and many revisions of the product and the documentation, leading up to the first commercial product release. We were involved in:

• Designing the document templates
• Developing document content from scratch
• Editing and polishing content provided by Lumina's technical staff
• Developing code and tutorial examples
• Creating all illustrations
• Advising Lumina's in-house staff on effective use of Framemaker for document development and production
