Office Manager

Mara's previous incarnations as tropical fish store-owner, construction contractor, dental assistant, licensed vocational nurse, and office manager, exhibit her diverse talents that now serve Expert Support. Her gift for helping others feel comfortable, and her concern for their general well being provide a lovely foundation for her current position as Expert Support's Office Manager.

Mara's solid bookkeeping experience and strong organizational skills facilitate an efficient office administration and keep employees from running out of rock, scissors, and paper. However, one of Mara's stringent rules as HR administrator is that no one ever runs with scissors! And she is becoming adept at juggling the various employee benefit programs and human resource concerns inherent in dynamic consulting companies.

In her spare time, Mara may be found tromping through the moors, strolling along the Nile, or maybe in flight to another galaxy, far, far, away—wherever the book she's currently reading takes her. She also enjoys yoga, meditation (a recent find), drawing, and turning some dried flowers and a wee bit of ribbon into something nice for her friends or for her home.
