Where are my deposits held and is my money safe?

All client funds are held in segregated accounts. All funds are treated according to the guidance of the respective regulator.

How can I open a Live Trading Account?

How long does it take to open an account?

Please allow our onboarding team up to one business day to verify your documents and approve your account. However we always aim to have your account open within few hours.

Which documents do I need to open an account?

In order to review your account, we will require the below documents: Proof of Identity – a coloured copy of your travel passport containing your photograph, full name, valid expiry date and your signature. (If no valid passport is available, please upload a similar identification document such as National ID card or Driving license) Proof of Address – a recent utility bill (e.g. electricity, gas, water, waste disposal, Internet or a Bank Statement) dated within the last 6 months and confirming your name and the registered address.

Why do I need to submit my documents for account validation?

This is due to obligatory ‘Know your Client’ (KYC) procedures that we must follow, in accordance with international Anti Money Laundering (AML) regulations

Can I have multiple trading accounts?

Yes, you can have up to 5 trading accounts per platform. You can open additional accounts anytime directly from your Memeber Area.

What is the main difference between your Raw and Standard accounts?

We charge a commission of US $3/lot per side on our Raw account, while on our Standard account we have only the spread.

I can only see few instruments on my MT4 platform, where are the remaining symbols?

Log in to your MT4 platform, go to the Market watch window, right click and select “Show all”. Now, you should be able to see all instruments available for trading.

Do you provide Swap Free accounts?

Yes, we do provide the Swap Free accounts for all our Muslim Clients.

Who can apply for a Swap Free account?

Islamic accounts are primarily offered to muslim clients as they are in line with Islamic law in that they incur no swaps or interest charges on overnight positions. XS reserves the right to request additional documentation in order to offer swap free privilege to an account. If the religion is not mentioned on your ID document, we may require a proof of faith in the form of a letter from your mosque confirming your religion.

What is the margin for CFDs?

The CFDs margin formula is Lots * Contract Size * Opening Price * Margin Percentage.

What is the margin formula for gold/silver?

The gold/silver margin formula is lots * contract size * market price/leverage

Margin is the required amount in the base currency of the trading account needed to open or maintain a position.

How can I calculate the margin?

The margin calculation formula for forex instruments is the following: (Lots * contract size / leverage) where the result is always in the quote currency of the symbol.

What is take profit, stop loss?

Take profit is an order to close a previously opened position at a price more profitable for the client than the price at the time of placing the take profit. When the take profit is reached, the order will be closed. Stop loss on the other hand, is an order for closing a previously opened position at a price less profitable for the client than the price at the time of placing the stop loss. Stop loss is a limit point that you set to your order. Once this limit point is reached, your order will be closed.

Leverage is the multiplication of your available balance that allows you to open bigger trading positions compared to what you could open not having any leverage.

What funding options do you offer?

We offer a wide range of payment options for deposits and withdrawals. Ranging from credit card solutions, multiple electronic payment methods, bank wire transfer, local bank transfer, and other payment methods.

What is the minimum and maximum amount that I can deposit?

The minimum deposit amount is US $200 (or equivalent denomination) for multiple payment methods supported in all countries. However, the amount varies according to the payment method you choose.

Can I still withdraw my money if I have an open position?

Yes, you can. However, you will need to maintain sufficient margin in your account to avoid reaching a margin call due to the withdraw.

How long does it take to receive a bank wire transfer?

It depends on the country the money is sent to. Bank wires to some countries may take from 3 to 5 working days.

Do you accept third party deposits?

We are a regulated company and we do not accept deposits/withdrawals made by/to third parties. Your deposit can only be made from your own account, and the withdrawal must go back to the original source where the deposit was made.
