What Is Slippage?

Slippage occurs when an order is executed at a price different from the expected price.

Most CFD trades are executed at the best available market price at the time the order reaches the server. Because prices can change rapidly, especially in volatile markets, the final execution price may differ slightly from the requested price. Slippage can be positive or negative.
